Hyundai Capital America (HCA) has made a significant update to its leadership by announcing Jim Drotman as the new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 2, 2025. Drotman succeeds Marcelo Brutti, who has transitioned to a new position at Hyundai Capital Services as Executive Vice President. Extensive Experience in the Automotive Finance Sector
Prior to joining HCA, Jim Drotman held the position of Chief Transformation Officer at Ford Credit, where he played a key role in developing a digital financing platform specifically designed for commercial clients. His efforts greatly improved the overall customer experience and streamlined operational processes. Drotman has also held numerous leadership positions within Ford Credit, including overseeing operations across the U.S., Canada, and various international markets. His diverse experience encompasses roles such as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Ford Credit Europe and Managing Director in Ford Credit Britain.
Furthermore, Drotman has contributed strategically to automotive finance solutions as a board member of RouteOne LLC, showcasing his extensive involvement in the financial services field.
