Aphranel® Launches Clinical Exchange Program for European Physicians in China
Aphranel®'s Innovative Clinical Exchange Program
Aphranel®, the regenerative aesthetics brand under MOYOM Biotech, has embarked on an ambitious initiative that aims to connect European healthcare professionals with their counterparts in China. This exchange program, taking place over a week, is cleverly titled ‘The Norns' Weave’, reflecting an interconnected approach to clinical practice and learning. By facilitating clinical observations and discussions, this program allows European physicians to gain firsthand experience in advanced aesthetic techniques that are currently being utilized in China.
The essence of this program is captured in its motto: “Learn in China, Apply in Europe.” Through it, European doctors will be introduced to the rich repository of clinical expertise prevalent in the Chinese medical community, specifically focusing on injection techniques that could efficiently enhance aesthetic practices across Europe. The initiative is part of a larger global academic program aimed at breaking down cultural barriers and enriching knowledge sharing between healthcare professionals.
Inspired by the Norse mythology's three Norns symbolizing fate, this program encapsulates the philosophy of Aphranel®, known as 'The Poetics of Time'. Participating doctors not only learn techniques but also engage in vital dialogues that enrich their aesthetic philosophies and broaden their clinical horizons.
This exchange follows over 12 years of research and development that has positioned Aphranel® as a competitive player in the global market. The company received its Class III NMPA approval in 2025 for their MagiCCrystal CaHA-Filler, and achieved EU-MDR certification in 2026. The biostructure leverages proprietary CaHA microbead technology, which combines immediate structural support with collagen biostimulation, ensuring a product that is biodegradable and efficient.
By implementing a 'Train-the-Trainer' (TTT) framework and fostering international academic collaborations, Aphranel® aims to distribute clinical knowledge and promote evidence-based practices in regenerative aesthetics worldwide. In a recent visit, Dr. Tiago Guimarães and a European team attended a clinical immersion program in multiple Chinese cities, collaborating with certified Chinese practitioners. They had the opportunity to visit esteemed medical facilities like Yestar Medical Aesthetic Hospital in Guangzhou, and REAL Medical Aesthetics in Shanghai, among others.
During these visits, the physicians conducted aesthetic facial assessments, discussed clinical cases, and participated in live injection demonstrations. Such interactions allowed them to exchange insights regarding personalized treatment plans, particularly focusing on the unique needs and anatomical variances of patients from diverse backgrounds. One major focal point of their discussions was the clinical potential of the CaHA biostructuring agent, highlighting its applicability at various anatomical depths for optimal aesthetic results.
These educational exchanges go beyond basic knowledge transfer; they also address global clinical priorities such as maintaining natural facial expressions and achieving well-balanced, individualized aesthetic outcomes. The architecture of 'The Norns' Weave' not only enables physicians to share their experiences but also encourages them to ponder new methodologies and approaches in the realm of regenerative aesthetics.
Additionally, the program featured discussions with medical professionals from the Middle East during the Saudi Arabian Aesthetic Medicine Scientific Conference (SAAM) in Riyadh. These exchanges encouraged a cross-regional dialogue about facial assessment methods and injection strategies. Following this event, professionals from the region visited MOYOM Biotech’s headquarters in Shanghai to continue their collaborative learning.
With over 620 partner clinics and a network of more than 700 certified practitioners, Aphranel® is actively broadening its clinical education network in China. The ultimate goal is to extend 'The Norns' Weave' initiative through additional academic exchange programs in Europe and develop ongoing collaborations encapsulated within 'Expert-to-Expert' (E2E) frameworks. This will facilitate a continuous generation of clinical evidence and foster an environment of shared growth among health practitioners.
The 'Norns' Weave' program connects healthcare professionals from China and beyond, providing them with a platform for sharing clinical expertise and exploring diverse approaches to regenerative aesthetics. This initiative also cultivates an understanding of ‘The Poetics of Time’, delving into the evolving relationship between regenerative aesthetics and beauty, reflecting the changes in societal norms and aesthetic preferences through the ages.
