Laurie E. Locascio, Ph.D., NAE, the president and CEO of ANSI, expressed her confidence in Chipchase’s capabilities by stating, "Strong financial stewardship is the foundation for everything ANSI does, and it matters more than ever as we invest in digital transformation and new initiatives that expand our impact." This sentiment underscores the importance of financial management in ensuring that ANSI successfully fulfills its mission.

As CFO, Chipchase will take charge of the Institute's accounting and finance department, working closely with the Board Finance Committee. With her profound understanding of ANSI's mission and community, she is well-equipped to lead the organization into its next chapter.

During her tenure, Chipchase has navigated periods of significant change within the organization, gaining a comprehensive perspective on ANSI's operations and objectives. Before her promotion, she held the role of senior director of finance, where she significantly contributed to the organization’s financial tactics during impactful growth phases. Discussing her new role, Chipchase stated, "ANSI's strength has always come from the trust of the community it serves, and sound financial management is part of earning that trust. I am honored to take on this role and look forward to working with our Board, members, and staff to ensure ANSI has the resources to deliver on its mission for years to come."

Chipchase holds a Master of Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Reading in England. The Institute’s mission revolves around enhancing global competitiveness and quality of life through strict consensus standards and adherence to conformity assessment systems. By safeguarding the integrity of these principles, ANSI plays a crucial role in representing over 270,000 businesses and organizations across the United States and serving nearly 30 million professionals globally.

As the official U.S. representative to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), ANSI’s responsibilities are significant.
