The celebrated trading card game, Cardfight!! Vanguard, is marking its impressive 15th anniversary with the broadcast of a special remastered episode. Bushiroad, the Tokyo-based company behind the franchise, has announced that the first episode will air on February 28 (Saturday) at 8:00 AM.

What to Expect

This special anniversary episode, titled "Fateful Lead!!", is set to captivate long-time fans and new viewers alike. The story follows Aichi Sendou, a gentle middle school student who struggles to make friends due to his shy nature. However, Aichi's heart finds solace in a treasured card from his childhood, the Blaster Blade, a coveted item in the Vanguard card game that's taken the world by storm. Trouble brews when Aichi's classmate, known for his rowdy behavior, forcibly takes the Blaster Blade, setting the stage for unforgettable duels.

In addition to the episode, the opening theme has been specially created for this anniversary, showcasing a nostalgic yet fresh take that aligns with the series' legacy.
