Innovative Eco-Business Program Kicks Off in Hiroshima

Aiming to spearhead business development in the environmental and energy sectors, a practical program has officially launched in Hiroshima. This initiative is organized by Zero One Booster, a company based in Tōkyō, and is supported by the Hiroshima Environmental Business Promotion Council. This program, titled "Support for New Business Creation by the Hiroshima Environmental Business Promotion Council for FY2026," recently culminated in the selection of nine companies for its first stage, with the inaugural group training session named Dojo being held on August 3, 2026.

Program Structure

The program is structured in two distinct stages. The initial stage focuses on developing and refining business models, while the second stage offers individual support for businesses aiming to implement their projects. The nine companies chosen for the first stage will engage in five sessions of collective training to enhance their business ventures and strategies.

During the first Dojo session, Daisuke Wada, a manager in Zero One Booster's Business Creation Solutions department, delivered a lecture emphasizing the significance of market strategies in new business initiatives. He discussed the essential steps and frameworks necessary for business development, providing participants with valuable insights into how to cultivate and expand their ventures.

The selected companies will not only attend group training, but will also receive mentorship from dedicated consultants in between sessions. This guidance is geared towards helping them prepare for a midterm report scheduled for November 2026, leading up to potential advancement into the second stage of the program.

Program Overview
