This engaging event, organized by the renowned creative company Afro&Co., aims to introduce children to the joy of music and dance in a lively yet safe environment.

This year’s event marks the second instance of ‘Kyouryu CANDY DISCO’, following a successful debut last year. Nestled in one of Tokyo’s key business districts, Tokyo Square Garden regularly hosts a variety of events throughout the year, allowing families to enjoy captivating experiences in this public space.

Coinciding with the beloved classical music festival ‘La Folle Journée TOKYO,’ which typically occurs over the Golden Week holiday period, the venue aims to foster community engagement through cultural and musical experiences. Even during the pandemic years (2020-2022) when ‘La Folle Journée TOKYO’ could not take place, the venue collaborated with surrounding facilities to offer free classical concerts, maintaining the festive atmosphere for families in the area.

At ‘Kyouryu CANDY DISCO’, parents and children can dance and enjoy music together in a safe environment, with sound levels tailored to children’s sensitive ears. Activities cater to youngsters unfamiliar with concerts, ensuring that every child can connect with music through fun, experiential programming. The event offers an opportunity for kids to try out popular activities such as dancing and DJing, featuring a diverse array of enticing content brought to life by Afro&Co.

Event Highlights

• - Gentle Volume DJ Sets: Enjoy a range of tunes played by a professional DJ, featuring trending songs, classic hits, and dance music, all within safe volume levels for young ears.
