Free Summer Programming Experience for Kids in 2025

The NPO Programming Education Research Institute, in collaboration with the Nakakute Board of Education, will host a free programming workshop this summer for local elementary and middle school students. The event will take place on three separate days: August 2nd, August 3rd, and August 9th, 2025, and it aims to provide children with hands-on experience in programming using micro:bit and servo motors.

Children participating in the workshop will have the unique opportunity to design and create their very own robots and other projects by combining sensors and motors. This engaging experience will not only teach them the basics of programming but also foster creativity and technical skills.
