From October 24 to 26, 2025, at the vibrant Shibuya and Harajuku districts of Tokyo, the collaborative repair event known as "DO REPAIRS" will take place, featuring the participation of Second Street, a subsidiary of Geo Holdings Corporation. Second Street, with its stores located in both Shibuya and Harajuku, will engage attendees by selling affordable clothing that can be repaired. This initiative is particularly targeted at those who may not have their own items to fix but are eager to take part in the repair culture. The clothing sold at the event will not only provide an opportunity for participation but also contribute to the notion of nurturing affection for possessions through repair and reuse.

Additionally, Second Street will supply garments to the main event venue, SHIBUYA CAST., where attendees can discover a variety of items available for purchase. This marks the first involvement of a reuse shop in such an event, expanding the horizons of fashion sustainability in Tokyo.

The DO REPAIRS event is a collaborative effort among numerous brands in the Shibuya and Harajuku area, providing a platform that features specialized repair services, maintenance advice from professionals, self-repair workshops, and even a screening of the film "Repair Café." With participation from 27 brands and organizations this year, including well-known names such as THE NORTH FACE, Nike, and Columbia, the event showcases a wide array of activities designed to encourage attendees to extend the life of their beloved products. By collaborating with student organizations and volunteers, the event seeks to promote the joys and values of caring for our belongings.

Second Street will actively engage in the event from its two locations—Second Street Shibuya Jinnan and Second Street Harajuku, both of which will provide clothing that customers can buy to participate in the repair activities. The intention is to help attendees discover an item they have a personal connection with, thus fostering a deeper appreciation for sustainable practices.
