CARFAX Recognized as a Leading Employer in U.S. Cities
In a remarkable display of employee satisfaction and workplace culture, CARFAX has earned the title of a Top Workplace in both of its operational hub cities in the United States. Recognition was granted by WTOP in Washington, D.C., as well as the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in Missouri. This accolade marks the twelfth time CARFAX has been honored as a Top Workplace in Washington and the fifth consecutive year for St. Louis. Such consistent recognition underscores the company's unwavering commitment to cultivating an excellent workplace environment.
Scott Fredericks, President of CARFAX, expresses the significance of this recognition, stating, "Every day, our team is the driving force behind our mission to help millions of people. Being recognized as a Top Workplace in Virginia and Missouri is particularly meaningful because these communities are our home. This recognition belongs to Team CARFAX for their passion, collaboration, and commitment to making CARFAX a place where people can grow, learn, and do their best work."
The awards given to CARFAX are based on insights gathered from the Energage Workplace Survey, which collects anonymous employee feedback regarding key components of the workplace experience like leadership, company culture, and overall employee satisfaction. For the first time, WTOP has hosted its Washington program after more than a decade of collaboration with The Washington Post.
Jamie Gladney, a Senior Manager for Service Automation in CARFAX’s Missouri hub, adds a personal note, saying, "People have asked me many times whether I would leave CARFAX for anything, and my answer has always been 'no.' For the past 25 years, CARFAX has been more than just a job — it’s a place where I’ve been able to help others, keep learning, and make a real difference. Team CARFAX isn't just a slogan, it’s a mindset."
CARFAX is also on the verge of relocating its headquarters to a cutting-edge facility in Reston, Virginia. This new space is specifically designed to enhance teamwork, nurture innovation, and support the organization's continual growth. Situated within Reston Station, CARFAX will be part of a premier, transit-oriented development that brings together leading employers, modern amenities, and a tightly-knit community environment.
Melissa Paloti, Director of Product Management at CARFAX, shares her enthusiasm, stating, "I get to spend my workdays with smart, wonderful humans and balance it all with my other full-time gig as a parent; that makes choosing CARFAX a no-brainer. I am also incredibly proud to work for a brand that is not only shaping an industry but also making the stressful and expensive process of buying a car much easier for consumers, every single day."
Commitment to employee well-being is a top priority for CARFAX, which actively invests in its staff through competitive benefits, opportunities for career advancement, and a nurturing culture designed for lasting success. To learn more about employment opportunities at CARFAX, visit
