Support Grants Ceremony for Community Organizations
On May 23, a grant presentation ceremony will take place, hosted by the Palsystem Yamanashi Nagano Cooperative, at the Jit Kofu Plaza in Kofu City. This event will honor 13 organizations that have been selected to receive funding for their contributions to child-rearing support, intergenerational community building, and agricultural promotion within Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures. The total amount of grants awarded this year is 1,999,550 yen.
Founded in 2002, this community activity grant system aims to utilize surplus funds from business activities for regional contributions. The initiative encourages residents of Yamanashi and Nagano to enhance their connections, work together on various local issues, and promote regional revitalization. To date, over 27O organizations have received more than 43 million yen in funding through this system.
Ceremony Details
During the ceremony, participants will receive grant certificates, and each organization will have the opportunity to present its activities. Additionally, a networking session will facilitate interactions among the organizations, allowing them to share insights and experiences related to their community efforts.
The organizations benefiting from the grants include:
- - Children's Room Operations Committee: Active in Uenohara City, it focuses on environmental education, welfare, education, child-rearing, and community revitalization.
- - Yamanashi Prefecture Chemical Substance Allergy Liaison Council: Working statewide, this group emphasizes medical services, welfare for individuals with disabilities, social education, and environmental human rights.
- - Okaya Disaster Prevention Network: This initiative, based in the Suwa region of Nagano, addresses disaster prevention and reduction measures.
- - Yokote Agricultural Machinery Club: Located in Hokuto City, it aims to sustain local farmland and rejuvenate the region.
- - Youth Clinic Matsumoto: Serving Matsumoto, Shiojiri, and Azumino Cities, it focuses on medicine, human rights, and education.
- - Colorful (Irodori): Based in Matsumoto, Shiojiri, and Azumino, this group is involved in health care, welfare, community revitalization, and child-rearing.
- - Festival Coordination Office: Active in Hokuto City, it engages in welfare, environmental initiatives, child-rearing, community revitalization, and volunteer activities.
- - Awa Odori Suwa Lake Group: Operating in the Suwa region, they foster welfare, community interaction, and regional revitalization.
- - MINNA Association: This Yamanashi-based group focuses on child-rearing, welfare, multicultural coexistence, and maternal health.
- - Yatsugatake Inoshika Tori: Located in Hokuto City, they work on environmental protection, child-rearing, and local revitalization efforts.
- - Yamanashi Cancer Peer Support Group: Based in Kofu City, this organization raises awareness about cancer-related issues.
- - KIMIOTO Student Group: Located throughout Yamanashi, they are involved in community revitalization through cultural and artistic activities.
- - Hidenosanchi Community Activity Center: Based in Fuefuki City, this group focuses on welfare and community.
