The 21st Great Kyushu Exhibition at Nihonbashi Takashimaya



From May 28 to June 3, 2025, the Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. will host the 21st Great Kyushu Exhibition, an exciting event that brings together the finest gourmet foods and exquisite crafts from Kyushu. Setting up on the 8th floor of the Takashimaya main building, this exhibition will operate from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with an earlier closing time of 6 PM on the final day.

A Culinary Feast of Kyushu



Visitors will discover around 60 unique booths showcasing a delicious array of culinary delights, gourmet specialities, and crafted goods from Kyushu. Expect a variety of options including sweets, bento boxes, side dishes, and alcoholic beverages, all available for in-store dining. Additionally, many exclusive products will be offered, unique to the Nihonbashi Takashimaya.

Renowned local mascots will also be making appearances! On May 31, Kumamon, the beloved bear character from Kumamoto, will visit the rooftop of the Takashimaya main building, delighting visitors with his charm.

  • - Nagasaki Chinatown Suzuho's Champon (Shrimp and Abalone Set)
Delight in a luxurious champon made with chewy, freshly handmade noodles and topped with Nagasaki's finest ingredients: red-footed shrimp and abalone. Priced at 4,950 yen with a limit of 30 servings daily.

  • - Hakata Sushi Iwasho's Dontaku 8-Piece Sushi Set
Experience the exquisite flavors of fresh ingredients crafted into sushi by a prestigious Hakata establishment, featuring tuna, red shellfish, squid, and more for 5,500 yen.

  • - Kyushu Shochu Bar's Recommended Shochu Tasting Set
For just 1,800 yen, enjoy a tasting flight of three exceptional shochus from Kagoshima, highlighting the region's proud distilling heritage.

Try a variety of unique treats from the Southwest, such as:
