Holland America Line is back with thrilling cruise itineraries for its 2026-2027 seasons, focusing on Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Travelers can now book their spots to explore these incredible regions across nearly two dozen unique voyages. This collection includes four Legendary Voyages that span 28 days or more, showcasing the cruise line's commitment to longer, destination-filled trips.
Beginning in September 2026 and running through April 2027, two of Holland America Line's ships, Westerdam and Noordam, will set sail. These cruises take guests close to stunning natural landscapes and renowned cities while introducing sailors to lesser-known gems like Yeosu, South Korea, a new port of call for the cruise line.
Discover Australia and New Zealand aboard Noordam
For those eager to visit the Land Down Under, the Noordam will embark on in-depth tours of Australia and New Zealand. This includes three Legendary Voyages designed to maximize the experience. The cruise offers unique South Pacific routes, allowing travelers to enjoy crossings from Seattle to Sydney over 34 days in October 2026 or a 29-day journey returning to Seattle in March 2027. Additionally, the 35-Day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation scheduled for November 15, 2026, promises a thorough exploration of Australia, showcasing its wild landscapes and unique wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas. Passengers can indulge in local culture with stops in Fremantle (Perth) and Hobart, along with extended hours in Adelaide and Melbourne.
According to Holland America Line's VP of Revenue Planning, Paul Grigsby, “The 35-Day Legendary Australia Circumnavigation allows our guests to immerse themselves in the beauty and diversity of Australia.” To cater to different schedules, Holland America also offers shorter 14-day sailing itineraries that connect Auckland and Sydney, stopping at eight incredible ports along the way.
Exploring Asia with Westerdam
The 2026-2027 Asia season features the Westerdam and starts earlier than ever before, offering cruising options that excite many travelers. This includes the fan-favorite 28-Day Legendary Coral Triangle voyage, departing from Singapore on January 3, 2027. This cruise navigates through the Coral Triangle, where the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef will be a highlight, along with breathtaking views of volcanic islands in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Passengers will have the unique opportunity to spend two nights cruising the Great Barrier Reef and can witness the awe-inspiring volcanic eruptions from Batu Tara and Krakatau. An overnighter in Bali provides additional time for passengers to explore this iconic destination further.
With most itineraries commencing from vibrant Tokyo, travelers have the chance to extend their trips with days spent enjoying the city's extensive attractions. They can select between various sailing options, including Circle Japan cruises that last 13 or 14 days and a combination tour featuring South Korea and Japan over 14 days.
Unique Collectors' Voyages
Many of the cruise schedules also allow for the option of extending the journey into Collectors' Voyages, which combine multiple sailings into a single remarkable trip. These longer adventures stretch up to 69 days, giving guests the ability to explore even more ports and natural wonders across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
