Huawei Unveils Updated Xinghe Intelligent Network for European Market

On October 2, 2025, the Huawei Network Summit 2025 brought together over 800 experts and partners from more than 30 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey, to explore trends in intelligent networking and share insights on the digital and smart transformation of Europe. At this event, Huawei unveiled its fully updated Xinghe Intelligent Network offering, aimed at revolutionizing campus, WAN, and data center networks to foster innovation and enhance productivity across Europe.

During the summit, Jim Lu, Senior Vice President and President of the European Region at Huawei, emphasized the substantial role of AI in reshaping the tech landscape: “With advancing AI capabilities and decreasing costs, large-scale adoption is accelerating. The newly updated Huawei Xinghe Intelligent Network simplifies the flow of data and offers a premier AI application experience, making it ideal for speeding up the smart transformation of industries.” Lu also reiterated Huawei's commitment to collaboration with customers and partners for a successful future characterized by intelligence.

Steven Zhao, Vice President of the Data Communication Product Line at Huawei, elaborated on the innovative framework of the Xinghe Intelligent Network, termed ‘3-Beyond’. Zhao detailed the three pillars of innovation: ‘Beyond Performance’, which pushes the limits of network capabilities for exceptional service experiences; ‘Beyond Resilience’, ensuring unprecedented reliability and security; and ‘Beyond Autonomy’, integrating digital and physical realms for high-level autonomous networks.

In terms of campus network enhancements, Huawei showcased the groundbreaking Wi-Fi Shield technology, which introduced two additional innovations. For the first time, an industry-leading access point (AP) has the capability to detect hidden cameras through full-band scanning and intelligent algorithms, thereby ensuring 24/7 privacy protection. Moreover, a patented Wi-Fi detection system can identify micromovements within centimeters, helping to prevent breaches in sensitive areas.

On the topic of data center networks, Huawei presented the Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, which drastically increases efficiency by simulating and configuring thousands of network and security devices in just five minutes—an astounding 100-fold increase in operational speed. The advanced Eagle-Eye engine can process 200,000 flows in real time, enabling comprehensive traffic quality analysis and rapid fault detection and recovery within mere minutes.

In the WAN area, Huawei's innovations aim to address the challenges faced by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Traditional methods struggle to identify encrypted applications, stalling the progress of value-added services. Huawei’s new intelligent service detection algorithm improves encrypted application identification accuracy to over 95%. For the energy sector, where the transition to flexible power grids poses strict latency requirements, Huawei employs intelligent jitter elimination technology that maintains asymmetric latency variations within 10 microseconds—20 times better than industry averages.

To tackle the rapid expansion of wireless networks and inefficiencies in operations, Huawei launched NetMaster, an intelligent agent that automates processes from awareness to decision-making, resolving 80% of wireless issues automatically and reducing average resolution time from hours to minutes. In medical environments, the impact of mobile connectivity loss is mitigated by Huawei’s ASFN (Advanced Same Frequency Network) technology, which synchronizes access points at a nanosecond level, ensuring seamless roaming and non-stop service for medical terminals.

For small and medium enterprises, often burdened by limited ICT budgets and insufficient IT expertise, Huawei introduced innovative products like the enterprise-grade AR180 router, which combines eight key functions, reducing CAPEX by 50% while achieving exceptional simultaneous connection capabilities for high-definition conferencing. Meanwhile, Huawei introduced the high-density Wi-Fi 7 AP673, designed to support up to 120 channels without hiccups.

At the summit, a white paper on advanced Wi-Fi 7 technology was published in collaboration with industry pioneers and standardization organizations, promoting innovations such as continuous multi-AP networks and integrated Wi-Fi detection and communication capabilities. Another collaborative white paper, Benchmarking Ethernet Interconnect for AI/HPC Workloads and Network Design Recommendations with OEHI, revealed Ethernet’s superiority over InfiniBand in key performance metrics, solidifying it as the go-to choice for intelligent processing data centers.

As Huawei continues to advance innovation and foster collaboration within the ecosystem, the Xinghe Intelligent Network situates itself as a cornerstone of intelligent infrastructure for a smarter future.
