Welcoming 2026: A New Era for WalkMe
As we usher in 2026, I, Ryo Noda, the Country Manager of WalkMe Japan, would like to extend my warm New Year greetings. We deeply appreciate the support we've received over the past year and look forward to another fruitful year together.
The previous year, 2025, marked a pivotal point where AI began to play a crucial role in business activities, reshaping the digital transformation landscape as a source of competitive advantage. Companies have continued to invest heavily in adopting new technologies, yet they face the challenging hurdles of ensuring these technologies become embedded and create genuine value. This context has elevated the significance of Digital Adoption Platforms (DAP) within Japan. According to a survey conducted by ITR, the DAP market is projected to grow by 66% year-on-year in 2024, indicating sustained growth in the future. In this environment, numerous customers have chosen WalkMe to facilitate people-centered digital transformation initiatives.
Last July, we successfully hosted the "DAP Summit 2025" under the theme "Breaking Free from the DX Maze - DAP as the Final Piece of Success in DX". The event featured advanced case studies and insights from experts both domestically and internationally, serving as a prominent platform highlighting the potential of DAP in Japan and guiding the trajectory of corporate DX.
We realize the importance of taking the lead in this rapidly evolving market to pave the way for new value creation.
A New Chapter and AI-Driven Prospects
In a significant move last year, I took on the role of Country Manager at WalkMe, marking a new beginning for our Japanese operations. Since the establishment of our Japanese subsidiary in 2019, we aim to build upon the robust foundation established by the previous management while continuing to provide significant value in this new phase.
The vision we hold is one where orchestration between AI and multiple applications becomes a necessity. As companies adopt an increasing number of applications, and AI agents begin operating across various SaaS and business applications, DAP is set to evolve from mere support for operations to a role that integrates and orchestrates these elements. We believe that the orchestration connecting humans, AI, and multiple applications is key to achieving future success in DX.
In this rapidly changing landscape, we intend to leverage our global knowledge and robust technological foundation to connect "people, AI, and multiple applications," guiding Japanese enterprises toward the next phase of DX.
Commitment to Corporate Growth and Aspirations for 2026
At WalkMe, our mission is to eliminate barriers between people and systems to accelerate DX significantly. In 2026, we are dedicated to deepening our value propositions in the Japanese market.
We aim to enhance our collaborative support efforts even more, delivering the latest global insights on AI utilization and business transformation swiftly to our Japanese customers. Additionally, we will further invigorate the domestic user community by promoting the sharing of success stories across various industries and sectors.
We are also excited to introduce "WalkMe Learning Arc," a new solution combining AI and Digital Adoption that provides tailored learning experiences on applications based on roles and circumstances. This initiative supports skill gap closure and continuous growth, and embodies our purpose of connecting people and technology through the lens of "learning."
Enthusiastically, we plan to host another round of the well-received "DAP Summit" this year, aiming to create a platform for those engaged in DX promotion to convene and learn from each other.
Moreover, we will strengthen our partnerships to broaden the horizons of digital adoption throughout Japan. As part of the SAP group, we will leverage the global network and technological synergies to expedite the provision of optimized solutions for our customers.
We aspire to remain more than just a tool vendor, wishing to be a partner that guides our customers’ transformation projects to success. Our team is resolute in maintaining a focus on "people-centered technology utilization," continuously innovating and enhancing our services day by day.
In conclusion, WalkMe is committed to maximizing the value of technology investments and promoting a human-centered DX alongside our customers, partner companies, and communities. We sincerely hope that 2026 will be a year of transformation and leap for all of you and ask for your continued support and guidance.
Here’s to a wonderful 2026 ahead!
Sincerely,
Ryo Noda
