Additionally, its fanless Coolfinity™ technology ensures efficient thermal management, enabling it to operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 60°C (140°F).

Powering the GC-R8 are Intel’s 12th generation processors alongside UHD graphics. This robust configuration ensures that it performs effectively for military reconnaissance missions, industrial inspections, logistics, and even critical search and rescue operations. The device features an 8-inch DynaVue® HD display, providing clear visibility in direct sunlight (up to 800 nits) and is usable with gloves or in night vision mode. Its modular control system offers multiple flexible configurations with secure safety caps for buttons and various switch options.

The GC-R8 includes a unified platform for control and communication, supporting both wired and wireless data links. It features military-grade M12 LAN and USB connectors, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), 4G-LTE and 5G modules, as well as low earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications. Soundly designed for seamless operations, the high-level integrated platform ensures uninterrupted data transmission while maintaining the security expected from Durabook products.
