BayCare's Ambulatory division received significant recognition, specifically with the BayCare Outpatient Imaging facility at Hampton Lakes/Westchase, which earned the Pinnacle of Excellence - Patient Experience Award. Additionally, Mease Dunedin Hospital gained accolades for its physicians, who received the Guardian of Excellence – Physician Experience Award. According to Press Ganey, the awards reflect results from annual surveys conducted with over 41,000 healthcare facilities, focusing on various aspects such as safety, quality, and the overall experience of care provided to patients.
