Yamatané Logistics Hosts Fun Traffic Safety Class for Kids

On April 12, 2025, Yamatané Logistics, a group company of Yamatané Corporation based in Koto Ward, Tokyo, held a vibrant event titled "Traffic Safety Class for Parents and Children" at its Fukagawa branch. This initiative is a part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the Yamatané Group and marks the second time this traffic education program has taken place.

The core aim of this engaging event is to contribute to the local community by raising awareness about traffic safety, while also expressing gratitude to the locals for their continuous support. Collaborating with Fukagawa Police Station and Isuzu Motors Tokyo, the event promises to foster a safer environment for everyone.

The event witnessed the attendance of approximately 80 participants, which included first to third graders and their parents from the Koto Ward. With an agenda filled with informative and enjoyable activities, children had the chance to immerse themselves in the world of traffic safety.

• - Truck Riding Experience: Kids got the chance to ride in trucks, experiencing firsthand the workings of heavy vehicles and gaining respect for their role on the roads.
• - Crosswalk Lessons: Expert officers from Fukagawa Police provided lessons on how to safely cross the street, reinforcing the importance of vigilance for young pedestrians.
• - Interactive Workshops: Parents and children engaged in interactive workshops designed to teach safe riding practices and traffic awareness.

At the end of the event, attendees were gifted rice balls as a token of appreciation.
