LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V: A New Era in Logistics
Nittetsu Kowa Real Estate Co., Ltd. has officially announced the completion of its latest logistics facility in the Kinki region,
LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V, which is set to become a significant player in enhancing logistics operations in the area. Expected to commence operations by the end of January 2026, this facility represents the sixth installment in the LOGIFRONT series.
A Purpose-Built Distribution Center
Located in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V is a dedicated logistics center designed specifically for
Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. This bespoke design takes into account the unique operational requirements and storage needs of the company, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency in warehouse operations.
Prime Location with Excellent Connectivity
Strategically positioned, LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V offers unparalleled access to major transportation routes. The facility is approximately
1.8 km from the Hanshin Expressway No. 5 Wangan Line's
Amagasaki East Coast interchange and
4.5 km from the No. 3 Kobe Line interchange. This advantageous location allows for seamless access to Osaka Port, Kobe Port, and the Itami Airport, facilitating broad regional distribution.
Moreover, the facility connects directly to the
Dai-ni Hanshin Road via the Gogo Bridge, providing exceptional transport convenience to downtown Osaka, further enhancing its logistics capabilities.
The site is located in an industrial area that supports round-the-clock operations and is surrounded by a robust network of factories and warehouses, making it ideal for frequent deliveries and an efficient distribution landscape.
Cutting-Edge Facility Design
The LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V occupies a
4-story, box-shaped structure, featuring a single-sided loading dock designed to accommodate up to
21 vehicles. The aesthetic of the facility is characterized by a minimalist design, utilizing
silver-gray and
dark gray, aligning with the visual identity of the LOGIFRONT series while also complementing its surrounding environment.
Each floor boasts a generous ceiling height of
7.0 meters, allowing for increased storage capacity and enhancing operational efficiency. The facility is equipped with two freight elevators and a passenger elevator, ensuring adequate transportation of goods and personnel across the various levels. Additionally, features such as a break room, smoking area, shower facilities, and restrooms for drivers have been included, ensuring a comfortable working environment for all staff members.
Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
As part of its dedication to sustainability, LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V incorporates the
NSCarbolex® Neutral steel, a pioneering initiative that aims to minimize carbon emissions during construction, a first for a private logistics developer. Collaborating with
Nippon Steel Corporation, the facility employs reinforced steel that reduces carbon dioxide emissions by approximately
9% during steel production and construction.
Furthermore, the facility utilizes roughly
1,900 tons of steel slag in its construction, contributing to the preservation of natural resources. It has also integrated
350 tons of geopolymerized materials, substantially lowering CO2 emissions compared to traditional cement alternatives.
Such environmentally conscious choices reflect Nittetsu Kowa Real Estate’s commitment to sustainable development practices in the logistics sector.
Future Developments in Logistics Facilities
Since establishing the LOGIFRONT project division in April 2018, Nittetsu Kowa Real Estate has been aggressively expanding its portfolio of innovative logistics facilities across the Kanto, Chubu, and Kinki regions. This strategic expansion aims to align with market demands and optimize logistical efficiency for its clients.
With ongoing projects including locations like
LOGIFRONT Koshigaya I and
LOGIFRONT Amagasaki II, Nittetsu Kowa continues to be at the forefront of logistics development, ensuring enhanced industrial infrastructure while promoting sustainability and efficiency in operations.
As the logistics landscape continues to evolve, the introduction of LOGIFRONT Amagasaki V signifies a robust commitment to meeting the growing needs of the logistics industry while emphasizing a sustainable future.
