Explore Your Heart at KOKORO STUDIO
In an era where our busy lives often leave us little time to connect with our hearts, "KOKORO STUDIO" emerges as a beacon of hope. This limited-time experience, held in collaboration with Yokohama City University at Marui City Yokohama, consists of a series of interactive workshops designed to help participants learn how to care for their mental well-being in an enjoyable manner. Running from August 21 to August 27, 2025, the studio promises a unique opportunity to engage with the intricate workings of our emotions.
KOKORO STUDIO focuses on four distinct workshops over a week, guiding attendees through the essential aspects of mental care and self-understanding. By offering hands-on experiences that speak to both the visuals and emotional responses, participants will not only see how the mind operates but will also learn how to touch, feel, and connect with their emotions on a deeper level. This enlightening journey is aimed at empowering individuals to adopt self-care practices in their everyday lives.
An Immersive Environment
The atmosphere of KOKORO STUDIO is designed to be a tranquil escape, adorned with delightful character designs from the beloved “Nan Demo Ikimono” series. This vibrant decor transforms the space into a tropical paradise, populated by animals, plants, and whimsical representations of food. While participating in the workshops, attendees can enjoy lighthearted moments with these lively characters, making the exploration of their own minds a soothing and joyful experience.
Moreover, there will be a dedicated merchandise area within the venue, providing exclusive items that attendees can purchase. Special perks await those who buy these items, adding another layer of excitement to the visit—an opportunity not to be missed!
Special Collaboration with Shinagawa Girls Academy
Adding more depth to the experience, KOKORO STUDIO features a special collaboration with the student group “Mew” from Shinagawa Girls Academy. This studio encourages attendees to create their personal manual—a tool that allows them to monitor and understand the state of their mind and body. The manual integrates insight about the mind-body connection and is designed in collaboration with the upcoming “YOKOHAMA KOKORO WEEK” event. Participants can use their manuals on-site to assess their emotional health and enhance their understanding of themselves further.
Exclusive Perks for Joining the Nan Demo Ikimono Community
Fans of the series will be pleased to know that attendees who sign up for a new Epos Card featuring characters from “Nan Demo Ikimono” will receive a unique commemorative sticker celebrating the YOKOHAMA KOKORO WEEK event. This collectible item, having been crafted by renowned illustrator Yoko Mizo, adds a touch of creativity and fun to the overall experience. With a universe where animals, plants, and food come alive, it's a vibrant setting for anyone seeking to connect with their emotions.
What is YOKOHAMA KOKORO WEEK?
