The hotel, operated by Okami Juku Co., Ltd., aims to preserve the stories and history behind each traditional house, providing a distinct cultural experience for guests, while promoting the concept of staying in a home rather than just a hotel.

NOIE, which translates to "the house of XX" in Japanese, embraces the individuality of its accommodations, each reflecting its own unique narrative. Whether it’s a historical residence once owned by a merchant, a former tobacco shop, or a house suitable for pets with a garden, NOIE promises a stay like no other, where guests can fully immerse themselves in the uniqueness and background of each property.

A New Kind of Stay

One of the standout features of NOIE is its decentralization model, where guest accommodations are scattered throughout Kushimoto town, rather than being clustered in one location. Upon arrival, guests will check in at a local café in the town’s center, starting an engaging journey through the town. This interactive travel experience encourages walking through the scenic landscapes and interacting with local residents, making it feel as if you are truly living in the area.
