Envision Energy Advances Global Wind Power Technology with DNV Certification for TG Pro

Envision Energy's Milestone Achievement

Envision Energy, a leader in green technology, has recently celebrated a significant achievement in its mission to advance global wind power technology. On September 28, 2026, during the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 event, the company received the Type Certification for its TG Pro wind turbine (EN-206/8.35 60 Hz) from DNV, a globally recognized certification body. This accomplishment not only highlights the technical maturity of the TG Pro model but also underscores Envision's commitment to innovating wind turbine technology for diverse markets.

The certification ceremony was overseen by Mette Redanz, the Renewable Energy Certification Manager at DNV, and Yimin Lou, Senior Vice President and Product Leader at Envision Energy. The event marked a pivotal collaboration between the two organizations, emphasizing the importance of independent certification and industry partnerships in driving the development of advanced wind technologies.

Since its market launch in 2024, the TG Pro turbine has garnered numerous orders both in China and internationally. The turbine has undergone extensive validation, including prototyping and commercial operations, showcasing its performance in various wind conditions. The TG Pro is designed with a robust turbine architecture, optimized aerodynamic features, and advanced control technologies aimed at enhancing energy yield and operational efficiency.

Engineering Excellence

One of the standout features of the TG Pro platform is its blueprint for long-term reliability. The turbine incorporates reinforced key components and engineering solutions designed specifically for challenging operational environments. The validation process of the TG Pro has entailed comprehensive component testing, digital twin simulations, and rigorous field testing, providing a solid foundation for assessing the turbine's performance and dependability in real-world applications.

The DNV Type Certification acts as an independent affirmation from a third party that the turbine's design meets specific certification requirements. Yimin Lou stated, "The ongoing development of our next-generation turbine portfolio is based on stringent validation processes and real-world performance data. The DNV certification of TG Pro further validates the platform's maturity and its readiness to serve customers across various international markets."

Mette Redanz added, "Independent certification forms a crucial foundation for trust in wind turbine technology, aiding manufacturers, developers, and other stakeholders in evaluating the performance, reliability, and compliance of new turbine platforms. We are pleased to support Envision in their certification journey for TG Pro."

Broadening Wind Power Solutions

In addition to the TG Pro, Envision showcased its larger wind turbine portfolio at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026. Another notable achievement was the preliminary Type Certification awarded by Bureau Veritas for the EN-156/5.0 MW platform, completed in less than five months. This rapid certification process provided an independent assessment of the design and technical performance of the platform, paving the way for broader commercial deployment.

The EN-156/5.0 MW turbine, designed primarily for the Asia-Pacific region, will be deployed in the Manar Wind Project in Sri Lanka. This project marks Envision's first large-scale wind turbine order in the country. The design features a hub height of 110 meters and enhanced corrosion protection measures, making it suitable for demanding coastal environments characterized by high salt content and humidity. The combination of international certification and practical project deployment underscores the focus on reliability and adaptability to diverse environmental conditions.

The certification achievements illustrate Envision's ongoing dedication to technical excellence, independent validation, and market-specific product development. By collaborating with leading international certification bodies and clients from various markets, Envision continues to propel the advancement of wind turbine technologies that unify performance, reliability, and adaptability for the evolving global energy system.
