Haitian's New Manufacturing Facility in Ruma, Serbia
On November 21, 2025, Haitian International took a significant step in expanding its operations by inaugurating a new production facility located in Ruma, Serbia. This event marked not only the opening of the facility but also showcased Haitian's commitment to strengthening its presence in the European market. An internal Open House event was held to allow employees and close partners to explore the new facility.
The Ruma plant plays a vital role in Haitian's European strategy, which focuses on local machine production, optimized logistics, R&D, and fostering long-term growth potential. According to Haitian's philosophy, the facility is designed to fulfill a wide range of market demands, with space available for future expansions, which reflects the company's strategic foresight and preparedness in catering to diverse customer needs.
This new production site will predominantly manufacture plastic injection molding machines, specifically featuring two proven model series: the Mars series (servo-hydraulic toggle injection molding machines) and the Jupiter series (servo-hydraulic two-plate injection molding machines). To date, more than 50 machines have been produced at this facility, with initial deliveries already reaching satisfied customers.
In addition to machine manufacturing, Haitian Serbia will operate as a central hub for spare parts distribution across the European market. The company will maintain inventories in both Serbia and Germany (its European headquarters) and establish additional decentralized storage locations throughout the continent. This strategic move aims to ensure rapid availability of essential components, thereby minimizing downtime for customers and enhancing service responsiveness.
To meet the specific needs of the European plastics processing industry, Haitian Serbia is expanding its capabilities with state-of-the-art machinery and integrated system solutions. The company plans to recruit engineers specializing in the design of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components for plastic injection molding machines. With a dedicated European R&D team focusing on high-performance and market-specific applications, Haitian will manufacture tailored solutions that align with regional requirements—ranging from optimized machine configurations to fully integrated manufacturing cells.
This investment in the Serbian manufacturing facility reinforces Haitian's commitment to being a long-term partner in the European plastics and manufacturing sector. It embodies three main pillars of Haitian's global strategy: regional headquarters, localized production, and several application centers throughout Europe. This strategic initiative not only demonstrates Haitian's growth ambitions but also its determination to meet the evolving challenges and demands of the industry in a rapidly changing global market.
The opening of this facility is a testament to Haitian International's dedication to innovation and quality, ensuring they remain at the forefront of technology within the manufacturing landscape. As the company continues to enhance its operational efficiency and service capabilities, stakeholders can expect significant advancements and improved experiences across the board.
