Insights from Organizers
Takeshi Takeuchi, representing the Noto Mirai Creative Network, expressed that the aim was to create new tourism resources that compensate for the lost sights due to earthquakes. By illuminating the night with stars and Kiriko through a drone show, they hoped to uplift the spirits of the local community while attracting visitors from outside.
The first installment, which revolved around the lively theme of AAA’s hit song “Charge & Go!”, showcased an exquisite synthesis of music and light, captivating the spectators. Following this, excitement builds for the upcoming second show, set against the beautiful backdrop of the seaside town, and the much-anticipated final show titled “Light of the Sea.”
Second Show Announcement
The second part of the drone show, also titled "Charge & Go! Special Version for Noto Reconstruction," is set to take place on September 7, 2025, at 20:00 for approximately 15 minutes at Minato no Niwa in Noto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture. There will be a third installment planned for October 25, 2025, once again at Yanagida Botanical Park.
A Message of Hope
The company aims to deliver a message of hope through light, wishing to evoke courage and emotion in everyone watching. This drone show transcends mere entertainment, aspiring to become a catalyst for the reconstruction of Noto and support for those affected. The heartfelt aim is for the mesmerizing visuals to resonate with the audience and fortify the spirits of the people in the affected regions.
Musical Notes
The special version of the show features the hit song “Charge & Go!” released by AAA in 2011, with lyrics by Kenn Kato and melodies by renowned composer Tetsuya Komuro. Coincidentally created in the same year as the East Japan earthquake, the lyrics echo a message of resilience and hope, wishing for it to touch the hearts of those in the devastated areas and all supporters of the recovery efforts.
