01Booster Partners with CEATEC 2025

01Booster, a company based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, known for its work in open innovation and new business development, has been chosen as a partner for the Next Generation Park at CEATEC 2025, set to take place from October 14 to 17 at Makuhari Messe. This exhibition is recognized as one of the largest IT trade shows in Japan, attracting attention from businesses and professionals alike. Last year, CEATEC saw an impressive turnout of approximately 112,000 attendees, a 26% increase from the previous year, highlighting its role as a hub for digital innovation.

Objectives for Participation

The primary aim of participating at CEATEC 2025 is to support the creation of new business opportunities for companies and entrepreneurs alike. In the previous year's pitch contest organized by 01Booster, companies like CyberneX, which utilizes brain information to promote well-being, and PFU, a subsidiary of Ricoh offering an AI engine for waste segregation, garnered significant attention from a diverse audience and jury for their socially meaningful projects.

As technological advancements and global competition accelerate, fostering innovation has become increasingly crucial for large corporations. However, many companies face challenges due to existing business structures and organizational cultures that hinder their innovation efforts. To address these issues, 01Booster has implemented various programs that promote collaborations between large corporations and start-ups, alongside systems designed to encourage internal entrepreneurship and public funding initiatives for new business development.

CEATEC 2025 and the Next Generation Park

CEATEC, organized by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), enters its 26th year in 2025. The theme for this year, “Innovation for All,” is designed to create catalysts for accelerating the implementation of innovation in society. Within this framework, the Next Generation Park aims to establish a vibrant ecosystem for innovation, uniting startups, research institutions, and the new business sectors of large enterprises to create value collaboratively.

This year’s park will introduce a spacious talk stage accommodating up to 150 people. Attendees can look forward to discovering insights through sessions and engaging in pitch contests showcasing innovative technologies and ideas that may become future partnerships. To facilitate optimal networking, a co-creation experience tour using AI technology and a matching system will be implemented to support encounters with potential partners.
