Kohler Resort in Wisconsin Unveils New Golf Course and Facilities for Guests

Exciting New Developments at Kohler Resort, Wisconsin

Kohler, Wisconsin, is set to elevate its reputation as a luxury holiday destination with the introduction of several new amenities. As part of a significant multi-year initiative, Kohler Co. unveiled plans to create the Purebred Farm golf course, which features 14 unique holes designed to blend seamlessly into the picturesque landscape just west of the renowned Blackwolf Run golf complex.

Purebred Farm: A New Golf Experience

Designed by the esteemed King Collins Dormer Golf Course Design from Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Purebred Farm golf course is scheduled to break ground in the fall of 2025, with an anticipated opening in the fall of 2027. This innovative golf course, spanning across 47 acres, will be a walking-only course designed to offer an enjoyable experience for golf enthusiasts. The layout will include a diverse array of par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes inspired by the celebrated architecture of the Golden Age of golf. The course is specially planned to maintain existing hiking trails and protect local wetlands while showcasing the natural beauty of Kohler's prairies and river valleys.

Furthermore, the historic Tomczyk Cabin, part of the Kohler Cabin Collection, will be converted into a rest station, enhancing the golfing experience while promoting sustainability within the resort's design.

The Serve: A New Racquet Sports Facility

Adding to its extensive amenities, Kohler, Wisconsin, has also announced the groundbreaking of The Serve, a premier racquet sports facility. This new venue will feature six indoor pickleball courts and two heated outdoor platform tennis courts, making it a bustling hub for racquet sports enthusiasts. With plans to host tournaments, lessons, and play for all ages and skill levels, The Serve aims to foster community engagement and competitive play in a vibrant setting. It is positioned to become a year-round recreational center, enriching the experience for both local residents and visitors.

Renovation of The Carriage House

Additionally, Kohler Resort is investing in the refurbishment of The Carriage House, renowned for promoting wellness. The impending renovations, which will see the closure of the lodging facility on November 3, 2025, aim to revitalize its 55 guest rooms, corridors, and lobby. Employing a contemporary design ethos, the updated space will feature completely renovated bathrooms, new furnishings, and artwork that captures the essence of luxury wellness. The revival is set for completion by May 1, 2026, ensuring that guests can still indulge in Kohler Waters Spa amenities during the transformation phase.

Commitment to Community and Hospitality

Stephen Beaumont, President of Hospitality at Kohler, expressed excitement about these developments, stating, "This next chapter in Kohler, Wisconsin's evolution reflects our ongoing commitment to creating dynamic, memorable experiences for our guests. With the construction of Purebred Farm Golf Course, The Serve, and the renovation of The Carriage House, we're introducing spaces that integrate wellness, community, and connection while honoring our resort’s rich legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and hospitality."

As the Kohler Resort continues to enhance its offerings, it reinforces its standing as one of the leading golf and recreational destinations in the world, contributing positively to the community of Kohler, Wisconsin, and its surrounding areas.
