Lake Ridge Bank Welcomes New Chief Credit Officer Following Retirement of Pete Graven

Lake Ridge Bank Welcomes New Leadership in Credit

In a significant leadership transition, Lake Ridge Bank has appointed Casey McClyman as its new Chief Credit Officer, replacing Pete Graven, who is retiring after an illustrious career spanning nearly 42 years in banking, with over two decades dedicated to Lake Ridge Bank. Graven's contributions to the bank have set a high bar in financial excellence, fostering a culture of sound credit practices.

Legacy of Pete Graven

Pete Graven's legacy is one of unwavering commitment and professional integrity. He has been instrumental in shaping Lake Ridge Bank’s credit administration policies, ensuring the institution maintains regulatory compliance, and navigating the complexities of commercial lending and credit risk management. His retirement, effective September 18, will mark the end of an era, but he leaves behind a legacy that embodies trust and financial acumen.

Paul Hoffmann, President of Lake Ridge Bank, expressed deep gratitude for Graven's leadership, stating, "Pete leaves our bank in a better place than he found it. His influence on credit practices has been invaluable, and his camaraderie will be sorely missed."

As he embarks on this new chapter in his life, Graven looks forward to pursuing his passions, including traveling, golfing, and enjoying time at his family cabin.

Casey McClyman: A New Dawn

With the succession plan in place, Casey McClyman re-joins Lake Ridge Bank, having previously served in various roles for nearly two decades. After a brief tenure at Farmers Savings Bank as Senior Vice President-Chief Credit Officer, McClyman brings a wealth of experience back to Lake Ridge. His proficiency spans business banking, retail services, and personal finance, underpinned by a solid educational foundation with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

McClyman's community involvement showcases his commitment beyond banking. Actively engaging with Mount Horeb High School's DECA club as a mentor, he has also served as a presenter for the Junior Achievement program. Moreover, his 13 years as a volunteer firefighter and EMS ambulance driver in Mount Horeb reflects a deep-seated value for community service.

As he steps into the role of Chief Credit Officer, McClyman is poised to drive initiatives that support local businesses and families, stating, "I have a real appreciation for anyone willing to put that kind of effort and passion into their work."

Future Outlook

According to Jim Tubbs, CEO of Lake Ridge Bank, McClyman’s deep connection with the community and understanding of its challenges make him a perfect fit for the position. "Casey represents our philosophy of community banking, and we look forward to his leadership in advancing our goals" he stated. McClyman recognizes the vital role small businesses play in local economies and aims to facilitate their growth through Lake Ridge Bank's strategies.

This leadership change marks an important moment for Lake Ridge Bank as they continue to uphold their mission of delivering exceptional banking services while positively impacting their community. With McClyman at the helm of credit, the bank is well-positioned to support its clients in achieving their financial goals and contributing to community development.
