San Jose City Workers Unite for Public Services



On March 13, 2025, a diverse group of city workers in San Jose, California, gathered outside the King Library to voice their concerns about proposed budget cuts and a hiring freeze. Organized by unions IFPTE Local 21, MEF-AFSCME Local 101, and the San Jose Firefighters IAFF Local 230, the rally aimed to emphasize the critical role these workers play in maintaining essential public services for the community.
