Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Exhibition: Dive Into New Adventures

The highly anticipated 'Dragon Quest the DIVE - Untold Adventures Await' exhibition, organized by Tohoku Shinsha and Square Enix, officially opened its doors on July 17, 2026. This event marks a significant milestone in celebrating the enduring legacy of the beloved Dragon Quest series, which has captivated audiences for four decades.

The Exhibition Experience

Visitors can look forward to a plethora of experiences designed to immerse them in the enchanting world of Dragon Quest. The main attraction, the Dragon Quest VR RIDE, utilizes the latest Meta Quest 3 VR technology combined with motion seats, allowing attendees to traverse a detailed, 360-degree representation of the Dragon Quest universe.

Imagine riding a Killer Panther across lush plains, dodging fierce monsters in a dense forest, and soaring through the skies. This experience is not just a visual delight; it’s engineered to engage all the senses, complete with wind effects that enhance the exhilarating experience.

Important Information About the VR RIDE

Please note that the use of VR headsets has certain age restrictions. Children aged between 10 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult and require parental consent to participate. Those between 4 to 9 years will experience alternate non-VR seating with video screenings, where guardians must also join. Unfortunately, children aged 3 and under, along with their guardians, are unable to partake in this experience. For further inquiries, attendees are encouraged to consult staff on the day of the event.
