Field Academy 2026: Mid-Presentation Recap and Upcoming Final Presentation

Ridilover is excited to announce updates from our ongoing Field Academy 2026 program under the theme of “Disability and Social Participation.” This initiative focuses on fostering self-directed leadership among business professionals through innovative solutions to social challenges.

Program Overview

Running from June to September 2026, participants engage in a collaborative effort to address issues related to disability and integration into society. This program is designed to cultivate skills that enhance leadership while challenging traditional business paradigms. It has involved team-based projects, ongoing dialogues, and the development of actionable proposals.

Mid-Presentation Summary

On July 31, we held our mid-presentation to showcase the insights gained thus far. This event marks a pivotal moment in the program, allowing teams of 3-4 participants to present their proposals to a panel of expert reviewers, including Makki Fukuzumi from Lorans Co., Ltd, Ridilover’s own Toshiki Abe, and Suzuki Sakae from the Social Innovation Partners (SIP). Each team presented for 10 minutes followed by a 20-minute discussion, offering rich feedback aimed at enhancing the proposals in preparation for the final presentation.

Key Themes from Presentations

The teams presented diverse proposals reflecting a wide array of approaches to tackle the theme of our program. Here are a couple of notable examples:

Team A: Proposed a new employment support scheme designed to expand job-seeking options for individuals with disabilities by enhancing their work experience through internships leading to permanent employment opportunities.

Team B: Suggested creating a platform that visualizes the skills and strengths of individuals with disabilities, linking them to job opportunities based not on disability but on individual strengths.

Feedback from our esteemed reviewers was crucial. Each panelist focused on how to sharpen the effectiveness of the proposals for the final presentations, emphasizing practical implementation and the need to question the intrinsic challenges they address.

Upcoming Final Presentation

We invite you to observe the culmination of this program during our final presentation on September 10, 2026, from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM. It will take place either at a venue near Shinjuku Station or online via Zoom, with participation completely free of charge. This event will include not only participant presentations but also a discussion with reviewers, shedding light on the tangible learning outcomes and the transformative potential for business professionals involved.
