Cell Impact Accelerates Delivery Schedule for Flow Plates Order from US Client

Cell Impact Accelerates Delivery of Flow Plates

Cell Impact AB, a global supplier of advanced flow plates for fuel cells and electrolyzers, has made headlines recently with the acceleration of a previously announced order from a leading US original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The order, which focuses on the production of flow plates, was initially set to be delivered over a two-year span, beginning in the third quarter of 2026. However, following discussions with the client, it was revealed that they wish to expedite the timeline for delivery.

Revised Delivery Schedule

As per the latest updates, the majority of the order will now be manufactured and delivered within the next two quarters, with the final delivery scheduled for April 2027. Daniel Vallin, the CEO of Cell Impact, highlighted the importance of this accelerated schedule, stating, "The client has informed us of their desire to increase the delivery pace for the already requested volume. Consequently, we will ramp up production to meet their needs more efficiently."

This move is anticipated to enhance Cell Impact's cash flow significantly. The decision to speed up the deliveries is expected to have a positive impact on the company's liquidity, providing much-needed financial breathing room. The total value of the order is pegged at approximately 5.3 million Swedish Krona (SEK), which is critical for Cell Impact, especially since the materials required for the flow plates are readily available in stock.

Innovative Manufacturing Technology

Cell Impact is not just known for its robust order book but also for its unique manufacturing capabilities. The company utilizes a patented method called Cell Impact Forming™, a high-speed forming process that stands out in scalability and cost efficiency compared to traditional methods. This technology prioritizes environmental considerations by requiring minimal electricity and no water consumption, making it a sustainable choice in the manufacturing of fuel cell components.
