Experience the Joy of Learning English at U-GAKU Weekend English Camp for Kids

U-GAKU Weekend English Camp: An Exciting English Learning Experience

The U-GAKU Weekend English Camp organized by Crepity, a leading company in study abroad programs, is set to take place on July 11-12, 2026, aimed at elementary school students. This unique 2-day camp is designed not just as a learning platform, but as an immersive experience where children can engage with English in real-life contexts alongside native speakers.

A New Approach to English Learning

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in immersive English education for children. Parents are increasingly looking for programs that go beyond traditional grammar and vocabulary, seeking opportunities for their children to use English in authentic situations. The U-GAKU Weekend English Camp is crafted to address this need, enabling students to experience English through a series of hands-on activities like nature explorations, cooking, crafting, and public speaking in English.

Key Features of the U-GAKU Weekend English Camp

1. Engagement with Native Speakers
The camp offers participants numerous chances to interact in English throughout the weekend. Activities include outdoor adventures, meal preparation, early morning walks, and team presentations, all conducted in English. By prioritizing communication over perfection, children learn to view English as a useful and approachable means of interaction.

2. Interactive Learning Through Activities
Activities are designed to stimulate curiosity and cooperation among participants. From exploring nature to collaboratively preparing dinner and creating their unique presentations about a fictitious village, students engage fully, fostering a sense of accomplishment and rapport as they use English.

3. Supportive Environment with Small Groups
With a participant cap of 12, the camp maintains a supportive atmosphere, staffed by three to four instructors. This allows for attentive interaction with each child, especially those who may feel hesitant about their English skills or are experiencing overnight camping for the first time. Both native and bilingual Japanese staff ensure participants receive the support they need.

4. Final Presentation: A Showcase of Learning
On the second day, participants will collaborate on an original village design project and present it in English. This concluding activity is not only an opportunity to practice their speaking skills but also to celebrate their creativity and collaboration, making English an integral part of their presentation.
