Data Innovations Welcomes New CEO Eric Dingfelder to Drive Growth and Innovation

Data Innovations Welcomes New Leadership

Data Innovations, a prominent player in the lab middleware space, has made a significant move by appointing Eric Dingfelder as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. This transition comes after the solid tenure of Premila Peters, who led the company for nine prosperous years.

The Transition of Leadership

Premila Peters played a crucial role in steering Data Innovations through a phase of growth both domestically and internationally. Under her leadership, the company expanded its product offerings and strengthened its market position. Peters is not stepping away entirely; she will remain within the organization in an advisory role until early 2026 to ensure a smooth transition.

Dingfelder's appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Data Innovations. His extensive background in lab information management systems positions him well to tackle the challenges ahead. He joined the company back in August 2024 as Chief Technology Officer, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the lab industry along with a robust understanding of software as a service (SaaS).

Eric Dingfelder's Background

Prior to joining Data Innovations, Dingfelder served as Senior Vice President at Clinisys Laboratory Solutions. There, he was instrumental in launching the Clinisys Platform™, a SaaS-based solution that spans various sectors, including healthcare and public safety. His previous experience as President of HORIZON Lab Systems showcased his ability to drive significant growth, quadrupling the company's top line before Clinisys acquired it in early 2022.

Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Dingfelder has cultivated a wealth of knowledge that he is eager to leverage in his new role. Expressing his commitment, he stated, "I'm honored by this appointment and am dedicated to building upon Premila's legacy. My focus will be on continuing Data Innovations' strong growth while preserving our company culture of putting our customers first and enhancing patient care."

The Vision Forward

As Data Innovations continues to lead in the field of lab enablement software, Dingfelder plans to drive innovation and operational excellence. The company already supports over 6,000 hospitals and laboratories across more than 80 countries. Their solutions not only aim to optimize lab performance but also seek to enhance patient care through reliable and efficient operations.

With Dingfelder at the helm, stakeholders can anticipate a revitalization of Data Innovations' strategies, ensuring that customer needs remain at the forefront of their initiatives. His blend of experience and ambition signals a promising future for the company, as it strives to maintain its reputation as a leader in lab middleware technology.

Overall, this leadership change is not just a shift in personnel but a commitment to a forward-thinking approach to lab management that prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. The industry will be watching closely as Data Innovations embarks on this new journey under Eric Dingfelder's stewardship.
