Celebrating the Noufuku Award 2025
The Agricultural and Welfare Collaboration Consortium (secretariat: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries) is excited to announce the launch of the
Noufuku Award 2025, aimed at recognizing excellent initiatives that embody the principles of agriculture and welfare collaboration. This initiative will officially open applications on
August 4, 2025, with submissions accepted until
September 30, 2025.
Purpose of the Award
Agriculture-welfare collaboration is fundamental in enabling individuals with disabilities to thrive in agricultural settings, fostering both agricultural advancement and a sense of purpose among participants. This collaborative effort extends beyond just those with disabilities; it encompasses support for the elderly, economically disadvantaged individuals, and those recovering from criminal behavior. The vision established at the
3rd Agriculture-Welfare Promotion Conference in June 2024 emphasizes the importance of integrating agricultural practices into the broader community fabric, aiming toward a universal framework that highlights participation from all societal members.
Encouraging the cooperative efforts between various stakeholders, the consortium aims to reinforce this vision as a means to advocate for not only agricultural growth but also the establishment of a community-oriented society. As we invite submissions, organizations, companies, and individuals engaged in these collaborative practices will be recognized through the Noufuku Award 2025.

Submissions are welcome from organizations that embody diverse talents across agricultural and welfare sectors. These initiatives should demonstrate significant contributions toward solving challenges relevant to agriculture, welfare sectors, and the engagement of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. The aim is to highlight how these initiatives can catalyze local economies and community revitalization.
