Join us for an exciting overnight adventure at the "Space Kids Camp" hosted by Plus One Education. This unique program allows children from kindergarten to sixth grade to dive into the mysteries of the universe while enjoying engaging activities in Tochigi Prefecture.

Camp Details


  • - Departure Date: August 27, 2026
  • - Return Date: August 28, 2026
  • - Location: Shioya Town, Tochigi Prefecture
  • - Accommodation: Stay at the "Kuma no Ki Star School" with western-style rooms equipped with bunk beds and shared bathrooms.
  • - Meals: One breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner included in the package.
  • - Cost: 49,500 JPY per child, covering transportation, accommodation, meals, activity fees, and travel insurance.
  • - Capacity: Limited to 40 participants with a minimum of 10 required. An experienced guide will accompany children throughout the trip.

What Awaits You


1. Starlight Discovery: At the "Kuma no Ki Star School," children will partake in an authentic astronomy simulation and observation. This old school turned accommodation provides a rare chance to sleep under the stars. Participants will learn through astronomy lectures and have the opportunity to use telescopes for stargazing, weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, indoor simulations using specialized software will still allow for a fun learning experience.

2. A Journey into Science: Visit the "Chiaki Mukai Memorial Children's Science Museum," where young explorers can engage with exciting scientific exhibits. Children will enjoy catching fish in the schoolyard and can run free in nature. This museum, headed by astronaut Chiaki Mukai, offers an engaging environment to learn about space, science, and the outdoors.

3. Unforgettable Summer Memories: The camp is designed to be an easy-going introduction to overnight stays, perfect for children who are not yet accustomed to sleeping away from home. This two-day adventure incorporates summer-themed activities, making it an ideal opportunity to create lasting memories.

Daily Schedule


Day 1:
  • - 9:00 AM: Depart from Shinjuku (by bus)
  • - Fish-catching experience
  • - Playtime in the schoolyard
  • - Astronomy lecture
  • - Stargazing using telescopes and simulation software

Day 2:
  • - Visit the Chiaki Mukai Memorial Children's Science Museum
  • - Explore astronaut exhibits
