ViferaXS Secures Financing for Cancer Trial

In a significant stride for cancer treatment innovation, ViferaXS GmbH, a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in Tübingen, Germany, has successfully closed a funding round totaling €12 million. This financing, which included grant funding, was spearheaded by the German Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation (SPRIND) and Huma, also featuring contributions from various private investors. The primary aim of this funding is to facilitate the advancement of ViferaXS’ Phase II clinical trial for CLLTAXS01, a promising therapy targeting chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
