Lanitech and Digital Hollywood Studio Collaborate on Community Workshops in Ehime

Promoting Community Through Food: A Joint Initiative by Lanitech and Ehime Orange Vikings

In an inspiring collaboration, Lanitech LLC, known as your technology partner for society, has joined forces with the Digital Hollywood Studio Matsuyama to support the Ehime Orange Vikings in their efforts to enhance community connection through food. This partnership focuses on promoting the "Baikus Children's Cafeteria," an initiative designed to bring together local children, restaurants, fans, and the community at large under the philosophy of creating a sustainable and co-creative regional model.

Background of the Initiative

The Ehime Orange Vikings have been actively addressing societal issues through a range of community support activities. Since the opening of their home arena, they have launched the "Baikus Children's Cafeteria" to provide meals and warmth to children in need, aiming to foster community involvement and improve local engagement.

In 2025, the club will be part of a new model project led by the Nippon Foundation and B.LEAGUE, which focuses on solving community issues through sports. This inclusion underscores the Vikings' commitment to not only entertain but also connect with the community at a profound level, developing systems of support within the daily lives of residents.

The workshops, under the theme "Connecting Baikus through Food," encourage participants to contemplate local challenges collaboratively. The aim is to expand the network of food, co-creation, and revitalization of the region through workshops that involve various stakeholders, including local restaurants, community support networks, and club fans. The first workshop took place on November 1, 2025, with future sessions planned to maintain momentum.

Lanitech and Digital Hollywood Studio's Role

Lanitech sees its participation as an opportunity to leverage its educational strength in connecting youth and local residents. By integrating elements of food, learning, and community, they aim to redefine value creation in the region.

The collaboration between Lanitech and Digital Hollywood Studio is not merely a matter of support; it is about establishing a sustainable and self-sufficient model that intertwines community, sports, food, and education. This integrative approach aspires to create more than just immediate solutions; it seeks long-term transformation within the community.

Workshop Details

  • - Theme: Connecting Baikus through Food

Anticipated Outcomes and Future Prospects

Through this project, we envision several expected outcomes:
1. Creating a platform where various stakeholders, including sports clubs, communities, children, local restaurants, and fans, can connect through food, contributing to regular support and interaction within the community.
2. Enhancing the sustainability of children's cafeterias, revitalizing local dining establishments, and building new models for community development initiated through sports.
3. By incorporating unique perspectives from Lanitech and Digital Hollywood Studio (IT, education, and talent development), we aim to create a co-creative ecosystem that transcends traditional boundaries between food, sports, education, and community.

Regular workshops, dialogues with local stakeholders, collaborations with restaurants, and ongoing support for children’s cafeterias will continue as part of our commitment to fostering community ties and promoting sustainability.
