Honeywell has recently showcased its strategic initiative to establish the Board of Directors for the upcoming Solstice Advanced Materials, a pure-play specialty materials company. This company will emerge following Honeywell's planned spin-off, projected for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Leadership with Vision


The Board, consisting of ten seasoned professionals, will focus on various sectors such as industrial technology, chemicals, and advanced materials. Dr. Rajeev Gautam, previously the President and CEO of Honeywell's Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) division, has been appointed as the Independent Chair of the Board. Dr. Gautam brings over four decades of experience and strategic insight to the table.

Joining him is David Sewell, the newly appointed President and CEO of Solstice Advanced Materials. Sewell has an extensive background of more than 30 years in the materials and chemicals space, showcasing an impressive resume that includes leadership roles at companies like WestRock Company and Sherwin-Williams. His experience positions him to drive this new venture with a clear strategic vision.
