The Women AI Initiative Japan (WAIJ) is excited to announce its upcoming event, 'My AI Challenge,' scheduled for December 1, 2025. Taking place at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), this event promises to be a unique opportunity to reflect on two years of progress and engage in discussions that celebrate the challenges and achievements of women in the AI sector.

Background of the Initiative


Founded in 2023, WAIJ aims to create a world where every woman can leverage AI for personal and professional growth. With over 600 female participants in its initiatives, WAIJ offers practical programs focused on AI reskilling, entrepreneurial support, and community building. The organization also runs specific programs like RAISE HER, which accelerates the growth of women entrepreneurs using AI, and the Women’s AI Day conference, aiming to broaden the horizons for women in this evolving field.

This event is primarily designed for women interested in using AI for career and entrepreneurship development. Participants are expected to foster a collaborative and respectful atmosphere. Behaviors detrimental to a positive environment, including harassment or any form of discrimination, will not be tolerated, and may result in removal.

About Women AI Initiative Japan


WAIJ advocates for a society where women can autonomously choose their careers and paths in life through AI. Since its inception as a voluntary organization in 2023, it became a non-profit in May 2025 and collaborates with the Tokyo government’s startup assistance program, TOKYO SUTEAM, to deliver programs like RAISE HER aimed at nurturing female AI entrepreneurs.
