Toys 'R' Us at Tokyo Toy Show 2025

Toys 'R' Us Japan, a leading retailer specializing in toys and baby products, is set to make a vibrant appearance at the highly anticipated Tokyo Toy Show 2025 on August 30 and 31. Hosted by the General Incorporated Association of the Japan Toy Association, this annual exhibition is a prime platform for both industry professionals and the general public to explore the latest trends in toys.

This will mark the third time that Toys 'R' Us participates in this event, following successful showcases in 2019 and 2023. The exhibition will feature an engaging booth that invites children and families to experience the joy of play firsthand. Over the course of two days, the booth will be open to the public, in addition to four days of exclusive business opportunities during the Buyer's Days.

One of the main attractions at the Toys 'R' Us booth will be the Free Play Area, where visitors can explore and interact with around 25 different toys from their exclusive brand, Playpop. This diverse selection caters to children and adults alike, creating an inviting space for families to bond over play and imagination. Guests can freely handle the toys and enjoy the tactile experience that Toys 'R' Us is renowned for.

In addition to the immersive play area, attendees will have the chance to meet the official mascot of Toys 'R' Us, Geoffrey the Giraffe. A dedicated photo area will be set up, allowing children to take memorable photos with Geoffrey. As part of this fun experience, the first 500 children each day will also receive a complimentary Geoffrey-themed vinyl Frisbee. This keepsake is sure to enhance the joyful memories created during the event.

Participation Guidelines

• - Attendees should use their own cameras for the photo opportunities with Geoffrey.

• - Each round of Geoffrey's appearances is expected to last about 20 minutes, but times may change based on crowd conditions.
