Mila-bo Launches Innovative Parenting App in Niyodogawa Town, Kochi

Mila-bo, a company specializing in municipal services and based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has recently unveiled an advanced mother and child health handbook application named mila-e (ミライー) おやこ手帳 in Niyodogawa Town, Kochi Prefecture. This application, starting from June 15, 2026, will be recognized as the Niyodogawa Town Parenting Handbook, aimed at providing improved support for Child-rearing families in the area.

Background of the mila-e oyako techou Launch

Since 2023, the town had been utilizing Niyodogawa Child-rearing App, a previous version of the app developed by Mila-bo. The initiative focuses on supporting childcare through various services over an extended period. Now, in an effort to offer a more tailored and supportive experience known as “accompaniment type consulting support,” the town plans to renew the base application to the mila-e oyako techou.

With this new version, the app introduces a significant feature called “My Number Portal Integration.” Previously, users had to manually enter vaccination records onto the app after each immunization. However, this updated version will automatically display vaccination records on the app without any manual input.

The app still retains several essential features familiar to users, including:
  • - Email and Push Notification Features: This allows parents to receive timely updates and notifications from the town, tailored to the age and month of their child.
  • - Vaccination Scheduler: This feature aims to prevent missed vaccinations and errors in the vaccination interval by providing a clear schedule for users.
  • - Electronic Mother and Child Health Handbook Function: Parents can record important information such as growth charts and health check results within a secure personal space.

Mila-bo continues to emphasize its commitment to ensuring convenient and anxiety-free childcare experiences by leveraging ICT to strengthen sustainable support systems.

How to Access the App

  • - App Version: Download from the following stores:
