Saudi Arabia Set to Host Biban Forum 2025 and EWC Global Finals
In a significant move for the global entrepreneurship community, Saudi Arabia is set to host the Biban Forum 2025 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center from November 5 to 8, 2025. This event is the Kingdom's premier gathering for startups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and innovators, orchestrated by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, also known as Monsha'at. The theme for this year's forum is "Global Destination for Opportunities," aiming to create a collaborative atmosphere where ideas can flourish.
Over a span of four days, the Biban Forum is expected to attract over 140,000 attendees from more than 150 countries. Key participants will include startup founders, investors, global CEOs, policymakers, and thought leaders, all looking to engage in discussions that foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The agenda is rich with activities: from panel discussions and interactive workshops to deal signings and innovative exhibitions that showcase breakthrough technologies and ideas.
One of the highlighted events within the Biban Forum is the Global Finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), marking the third consecutive year that the competition will be hosted during the forum. Recognized as the largest global competition for startups, the EWC is held in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). Since its launch, this prestigious competition has attracted over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 191 countries. For the EWC 2025 finals, the top 100 finalists will be selected from a vast pool of over 10,300 startups across 16 sectors from 169 countries, supported by 64 Global Ecosystem Partners. These talented startups will have the opportunity to compete on stage for a total of $1.5 million in cash prizes, along with establishing vital connections in global markets.
Sami Ibrahim Al-Hussaini, the Governor of Monsha'at, emphasized the importance of the Biban Forum 2025, stating, "It is more than just an event; it serves as a bridge between ideas and investment, enabling local and global entrepreneurs to receive the support they need to grow. As Saudi Arabia transforms into a leading hub for entrepreneurship and opportunity, Biban Forum is an essential platform to highlight talent, unlock partnerships, and contribute to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030."
Following the remarkable success of the Biban24 Forum, which attracted over 182,000 visitors and resulted in launches and agreements worth more than $9.3 billion, the 2025 edition is poised to break new records in participation, partnerships, and investment opportunities. With billions of riyals in potential agreements anticipated, the event showcases Saudi Arabia's emergent role as a global entrepreneurship hub.
Established in 2016, Monsha'at is committed to regulating, supporting, and enabling the SME sector in Saudi Arabia. The organization's mission aligns with global best practices, focusing on fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing funding opportunities, and boosting the contributions of SMEs to the national economy with the aim of increasing their share of GDP.
As anticipation builds for this remarkable event, all eyes will be on Saudi Arabia to witness a convergence of innovation and investment at Biban Forum 2025. For more information, interested parties can visit
