BlueNord ASA Reveals Preliminary Production Figures for January 2026

Overview of BlueNord ASA's January 2026 Production

BlueNord ASA, a leading player in the energy sector, has announced its preliminary production results for January 2026, showcasing promising figures that underline the company’s operational stability and growth potential. The company reported a production rate of 43.1 mboepd net, demonstrating a strategic recovery and efficiency improvements that are expected to bolster its output in the coming year.

Key Highlights

The Tyra hub has shown remarkable productivity, contributing 22.4 mboepd to BlueNord’s total output. Noteworthy is the record achievement on January 25, where the hub reached a gas production rate of 227 mmscfpd, the highest daily gas export figure since its restart. This is a significant milestone for the company, reflecting effective asset management and operational advancements.

However, January was not without its challenges. The production was temporarily impacted by two minor issues; fortunately, they were resolved swiftly within a span of just 24 hours. These instances underline the importance of continued vigilance and adaptability in production operations as the company progresses through 2026.

Ongoing Improvements

The management has underscored its commitment to further enhance reliability and optimize production performance. Following a thorough technical review conducted in the last quarter of 2025, targeted actions have been implemented to refine operations. These changes are expected to lead to sustained improvements in operational stability, thereby instilling greater confidence in the Tyra hub's potential for sustaining higher production rates over time.

Production from Base Assets

The base assets, comprising Dan, Gorm, and Halfdan, contributed a solid 20.7 mboepd net to BlueNord in January. Specifically, Dan and Halfdan demonstrated strong performance with operational efficiency exceeding 90%. Meanwhile, the Gorm asset faced initial challenges due to issues with the lift gas compressor at the beginning of the month. However, these challenges were addressed, and the Gorm site recovered capacity, revealing a production potential that exceeded expectations.

Looking Ahead

BlueNord ASA is set to expand on these developments further, with plans to announce its fourth quarter results for 2025 on February 24, 2026. This upcoming financial reporting will provide stakeholders with deeper insights into the company's performance trajectory and operational strategies.

As BlueNord navigates the complex dynamics of the energy sector, its proactive measures and commitment to operational excellence position it well for future growth and innovation in the industry.
