History of BE FES

The BE FES initiative began as a passionate project by BEAMS staff who share an everlasting love for music. Since its inception, the festival has traveled through seven major cities in Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima. In February 2025, the festival hosted its first all-night event at the famous Shibuya O-EAST, which sold out rapidly, and continued to impress by presenting multiple venue events in Kyoto later that same year.

With Tokyo's LIQUIDROOM set to host the next festival, expectations are high, especially with renowned artists like 5lack and Nakamura Yoshiko ready to take the stage. Their performances are teased to be a key highlight of the festival.

5lack, who also goes by the name 娯楽, hails from Itabashi, Tokyo.
