Hoymiles Launches HiOne, A Revolutionary All-in-One Home Energy Storage System

Hoymiles Launches HiOne: The Future of Home Energy Storage

On February 5, 2026, Hoymiles unveiled its groundbreaking all-in-one Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) named HiOne during an event held in Amsterdam. This innovative device is poised to set new benchmarks in the realm of smart home energy independence under the motto "Power Your Home, Empower Your Life." The event brought together experts from the photovoltaic field, technical media representatives, and strategic partners, all witnessing the dawn of energy independence tailored for modern living.

The HiOne seeks to provide a more streamlined and efficient solution by integrating an inverter, a battery, and an energy management system (EMS) into a compact design that takes up 20% less installation space and 50% less wall space compared to conventional setups. It is specifically engineered for contemporary households, boasting features like a zero-drop backup switch (0ms) that ensures uninterrupted power supply, even for power-hungry appliances such as air conditioners and during grid outages. Homeowners can achieve unprecedented transparency and control over their energy ecosystem with the accompanying S-Miles Cloud monitoring platform.

Setting New Standards in Energy Efficiency

The HiOne is not just about design; it also claims to be the epitome of efficiency with a maximum capability of 98.5%, equipped with four MPPT inputs (each rating 20 A) that accommodate various roof orientations. Safety and longevity are also top priorities, boasting premium battery cells with a capacity of 314Ah and monitoring at the individual cell level, promising over 8,000 charging cycles.

The system's future scalability allows for users to mix new and old batteries through its built-in DC-DC technology, supporting a capacity range from 8 kWh to 64 kWh for a single battery setup. Moreover, its AI-TOU function dynamically optimizes charging strategies based on electricity pricing profiles and consumption habits, drastically reducing household energy bills.

Bridging Engineering and Daily Life

Hoymiles aims to connect complex engineering innovations with daily household needs, creating solutions that seamlessly integrate into modern homes. Vice President Guy Rong stated, “Our goal is to bridge the gap between complicated engineering and everyday life, designing solutions that really fit into modern homes.” This vision of a smart energy future is echoed by Jonathan Gorremans from SolarPower Europe, emphasizing the shift towards intelligent energy management in the region. Antonio Testa from TÜV Rheinland confirmed that the HiOne system meets stringent European safety standards.

The event reached its peak with the signing of strategic partnerships, with Miranda, CEO of VDH SOLAR, praising the HiOne's safety features, sleek design, and exceptional craftsmanship. She expressed strong confidence in the partnership, noting it aligns with VDH SOLAR's commitment to providing reliable energy solutions to the Dutch market.
