Upcoming Opportunity for Startups: Join the SKIP Focus Event
On December 22, 2025, STATION Ai is hosting a significant event aimed at fostering connections between startups and potential partners through the
SKIP Focus Reverse & Answer Pitch Event Vol. 2. This event presents a fantastic opportunity for selected startups to showcase their ideas and technologies while offering established companies a platform to identify collaborative partners in the dynamic landscape of open innovation.
Event Overview
STATION Ai, based in Nagoya, is recognized as one of Japan's largest open innovation hubs. The
SKIP Focus program, entering its second phase, invites startups to participate in this collaborative pitch event. Startups can register either as pitch presenters or as part of the audience. The application period is from November 20 to December 21, and there’s a note that the registration might close early if the participant cap is reached.
Key Components of the SKIP Focus Program
The
SKIP Focus program is designed to provide comprehensive support for startups by facilitating collaboration between them and established companies. The innovation coordinators at STATION Ai guide these partnerships, helping startups analyze their challenges and establish clear objectives for open innovation throughout the process.
The second cohort of the program has been diligently working since May to assess their challenges and refine their goals. The focus on exploring public collaborations will culminate in a reverse pitch where startups present their innovative solutions to established companies looking for fresh ideas.
