Upcoming Symposia on Innovative Forestry Technologies
The Forestry Agency is proud to announce the hosting of two significant symposia aimed at accelerating the development and implementation of innovative technologies in forestry. These events include the
Forest Hub Symposium and the
Smart Forestry Machinery and Wood-Based New Materials Symposium. Both symposia aim to showcase efforts in digital forestry, collaboration across different sectors, and the latest advancements in smart forestry equipment and wood-based new materials. If you are interested in new technological developments in forestry, we highly encourage your participation!
Overview and Objectives
To enhance the safety, productivity, and profitability of the forestry sector, it is essential to integrate and utilize advancements from allied fields such as ICT, autonomous driving technology, and new material development. The
Forest Hub Symposium will feature presentations and talks regarding successful initiatives in advanced regions practicing digital forestry, as well as discussions led by practitioners involved in these initiatives. In contrast, the
Smart Forestry Machinery and Wood-Based New Materials Symposium will provide insights into the latest machinery developments and positive advancements related to wood-based materials, alongside discussions aimed at assuring safe practices in forestry with smart technologies.
Importance of Participation
We welcome not only forestry operators but also those from other sectors interested in the forestry industry to join. Through sharing knowledge and experiences, we can work collaboratively to push the boundaries of forestry practices into a future where technology and sustainability intersect. This is an excellent opportunity for networking, learning about recent innovations, and understanding the collective path paving the way for the future of forestry.
