On April 25, 2025, Meizu participated in the Geely Global Intelligent Mobility Expo by setting up an impressive exhibition booth at the Geely Building Plaza in Hangzhou, China. This event was a significant part of Geely's promotional efforts for Auto Shanghai 2025 and attracted over 400 attendees from various sectors. During this expo, Meizu presented a variety of its products, including smartphones, AR smart glasses, smart cockpit technologies, and more, effectively demonstrating the allure of its integrated AI ecosystem to a global audience.

In a groundbreaking workshop session, Meizu's Product Director, Peng Bo, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Empowering Smart Glasses: How AI Technology Drives Innovation and Practical Applications." This presentation aimed to highlight the potential of AI-capable smart glasses in enhancing human senses and evolving them into multi-functional devices that seamlessly integrate into daily life.

Among the attendees were numerous international journalists who were particularly intrigued by Meizu's AR smart glasses, specifically the StarV View and StarV Air2. These products, developed with overseas markets in mind, captured substantial attention, showcasing Meizu's commitment to adapting its offerings to meet diverse consumer needs.

The StarV View: A New Dimension of Entertainment



The StarV View features a BirdBath solution that provides users with an immersive virtual screen measuring 188 inches, ideal for a viewing distance of six meters, thus redefining mobile entertainment experiences. Notably, it stands out as the only smart glasses option in its price range that allows for myopia adjustments of 0-600°. During a recent launch event in Dubai, attendees expressed their enthusiasm for the StarV View, with many exclaiming, “I have to buy it!”

StarV Air2: Bridging Communication Gaps



The StarV Air2 also drew considerable interest. Attendees were amazed to see real-time translation of Chinese presentations into English displayed directly on the glasses. Reactions included shouts of astonishment, with many capturing the moment on their cameras. The Air2 features a multilingual AI-assisted real-time translation capability that currently supports 14 languages for bidirectional translation, already utilized for over 390,000 hours, assisting users in their travels across more than 30 countries and regions. This functionality enables seamless communication, particularly during business meetings and while traveling.

Beyond translation, the StarV Air2 boasts functionalities such as teleprompter support, AR navigation, and features to aid meetings and even music control, showcasing its versatility. Moreover, it includes a Voice-to-Text option that converts spoken language into text in real-time, helping bridge communication gaps for users with hearing impairments.

A Look into the Future



Peng Bo's presentation emphasized the extensive market potential for smart glasses, projecting them as the next generation of personal computing devices integrated with AI capabilities. He noted that as Meizu continues to enhance the performance and battery life of AR smart glasses, the company remains dedicated to collaborating with partners to broaden application possibilities.

Meizu's presence at the expo symbolizes the company's accelerated global expansion efforts. By innovating products that cater to the diverse needs of users across different nations, Meizu is committed to supporting its globalization strategy. The positive reception of these products by overseas consumers furthers Meizu's ambition, with its ecosystem products being introduced in various regions including the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe.

As part of its globalization strategy, Meizu is scheduled to conduct numerous product demonstrations and interactive events in countries such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Australia in collaboration with Geely.
