New Compensation Fund Established for AirBit Club Fraud Victims

New Compensation Fund Established for AirBit Club Fraud Victims

On May 13, 2026, RCB Fund Services LLC was announced as the claims administrator for the AirBit Victim Fund (AVF), acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice. This fund has been established to provide financial restitution for individuals who lost money due to the fraudulent activities associated with AirBit Club.

Background of the Fraud

AirBit Club has been embroiled in controversy surrounding allegations of a Ponzi scheme where participants were promised guaranteed daily returns from mining and trading cryptocurrency. These misleading representations have led many victims to invest their hard-earned money with the false hope of high returns. The newly established fund is aimed at aiding those individuals who directly suffered monetary losses as a result of these fraudulent schemes.

Eligibility for Compensation

To qualify for compensation from the AVF, individuals must be classified as ‘victims’ of the AirBit fraud. This classification is defined as those who have experienced a direct financial loss due to the fraudulent acts. Unfortunately, individuals who merely transferred funds on behalf of others without incurring a personal financial loss do not qualify for restitution under this fund. This criterion ensures that compensation is directed towards those who were genuinely affected.

Calculating Financial Losses

The AVF employs a straightforward “cash-in, cash-out” method to calculate valid claims. Under this method, victims must substantiate, with documentation, the total amount of funds used for purchasing memberships in AirBit Club (referred to as “cash-in”). This amount will then be reduced by any funds or cryptocurrency withdrawn from AirBit Club (termed as “cash-out”). It's important to note that any fictitious or paper profits claimed by participants will not be considered in determining the eligible losses. This approach is designed to reflect the actual net financial loss experienced by the victims.

How to File a Claim

Victims wishing to seek compensation are required to submit a comprehensive claim form, alongside supporting documents, prior to the application deadline. The most efficient way to file a claim is through the fund's official website: www.airbitvictimfund.com.

Alternatively, claimants can:
1. Download and print a claim form from the website and mail it to the addresses provided.
2. Request a claim form by calling the toll-free number (800) 765-7251.
3. Request a claim form via email at [email protected]

Important Dates

All claim submissions must be completed online or postmarked by the deadline of July 31, 2026, at midnight. Ensuring timely submission of claims is crucial to be considered for financial restitution.

Where to Send Claims

Claims can be sent to:
AirBit Victim Fund
PO Box 6090
Syracuse, NY 13217-6090
Toll-free number: (800) 765-7251

This significant development aims to bring some relief to those who lost money in the AirBit Club fraud, restoring financial stability and hope to victims who have endured tremendous losses. The establishment of this fund highlights the commitment of regulatory authorities to address financial fraud and aid affected individuals in their recovery efforts.
