The ongoing economic challenges following the COVID-19 pandemic and fluctuating global affairs have led to a significant increase in the prices of daily necessities. About “Kiramizuki” Rice



The rice variety “Kiramizuki” made its debut in the 2024 fiscal year and is celebrated for its resilience to heat, moderate stickiness, and lustrous appearance, offering a delightful chewy texture that retains its form even when cold. Cultivated by producer Masahiro Morita in Takashima City, this new breed received the gold medal in the prefectural and overseas region category at the 26th Rice and Food Taste Analysis Competition—an international event. Furthermore, it has been verified by Toshiko Iriguchi, president of Iriguchi Co., who is a well-known rice tasting specialist.

Campaign Details



“Agechau Bellevie 24th Edition: Win 3kg of Shiga Prefecture’s Kiramizuki”


Application Period: From April 21, 2026, at 12 PM to April 27, 2026, at 9 AM.
Winners: 500 residents will be selected.
Location: Kyoto Aquarium.
Prize: 3kg of “Kiramizuki” rice (certified special cultivation).
Announcement of Winners: Winners will be announced after the application deadline via email on May 7, 2026, around 12 PM.
Eligibility: Open to residents living in properties managed by Choei Co. by May 31, 2026 (not applicable to properties managed by housing supply public corporations or short-term leases).
