RIMAN Successfully Connects APAC Markets in Macau Through Innovation and New Product Launches

RIMAN Connects APAC Markets in Macau

In April 2026, RIMAN, a direct selling company renowned for its K-beauty skincare and wellness products, held its second regional convention at The Londoner Macao. The event, titled “MADE DIFFERENT”, was attended by approximately 2,000 members and leaders from seven markets across the Asia-Pacific region, including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan.

The three-day convention aimed to strengthen RIMAN's regional network and expand its global presence. Participants engaged in leadership training, business strategy discussions, and product innovation sessions. A key theme throughout the event highlighted the alignment of local implementations with the overarching global strategy, showcasing successful case studies from various markets. This forum culminated in a panel discussion featuring leaders who exchanged insights and experiences concerning regional best practices.

One of the focal points of the convention was the unveiling of RIMAN’s signature ingredient, Giant BYoungPool™, which resonates with the company's ethos and gained significant acclaim among the attendees. The ingredient is a powerful derivative of a specially cultivated variety of Centella Asiatica and is recognized for its beneficial properties in skincare, underscoring RIMAN’s commitment to quality and innovation.

Additionally, the convention served as a platform for RIMAN to showcase its robust research pipeline. Dr. Hee-sik Kim, Technical Director at ASK LABS and a researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, introduced a new plant-based biomaterial derived from a proprietary Chlorella strain unique to Jeju Island. This innovative material, over ten years in development with an investment of approximately 3.9 billion KRW (around 3 million USD), boasts carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin and is set to debut in new product lines later this year. The event also featured exhibition spaces for RIMAN's brands—ICD, botalab, and Lifening—as well as digital installations highlighting the company’s production and sourcing efforts based in Jeju.

Youngsu Hwang, RIMAN’s Global Chief Sales Officer, emphasized that the primary goal of the convention was to enhance coordination between markets to facilitate long-term growth. He expressed high expectations for the contributions this gathering would make towards fostering collaboration and innovation across RIMAN’s extensive market base.

RIMAN was established in 2018 in South Korea, evolving into a leading global direct sales company specializing in beauty and wellness. The brand aims to redefine K-beauty by integrating traditional ingredients sourced from Jeju Island along with cutting-edge innovations. At its Smart Farm in Jeju, RIMAN meticulously manages every aspect, from raw material cultivation to product development, ensuring the quality and efficacy of their offerings. The trademarked Giant BYoungPool™ ingredient has been granted 20 years of variety protection by the Korea Forest Service in July 2022 and the U.S. Department of Agriculture in September 2025, a testament to its unique formulation and potential impact in the beauty industry.

Conclusion

The successful execution of the 2026 RIMAN Convention not only showcased the brand's commitment to innovation in the K-beauty sector but also established a renewed sense of collaboration across the APAC region. As RIMAN continues to pave its way into new markets and enhance its product offerings, the company remains focused on fostering connections that support sustainable growth and development in the beauty industry.
